Highest Value Rating on a Superb Cabernet Sauvignon

While value Cabernet is difficult to locate, this wine is an excellent recommendation from our local specialty wine retailer. From the depths of the store, our retailer produced this bottle of wine when asked for his very best value under $20.

From Chile, I’m very pleased to have tasted the 2007 Errazuriz Cabernet Sauvignon, a single vineyard Cab from the Max I vineyard of the Don Maximiano Estate.

This excellent Cab is dark red, almost purple, in the glass with a tannic nose and strong legs. The wine is full and fruit forward with a rich and chewy tannic finish.

For under $15, this is a tremendous wine, capable of pairing with anything that calls for a bold Cabernet and represents a great and enjoyable value.

Rating: 1$, 3q, 4v
