2007 Chateau Smith Cabernet Sauvignon
March 1, 2010
Another great example of affordable, but complex and deep Cab from the Columbia Valley of Washington. The 2007 Chateau Smith Cabernet was a very pleasant surprise.
At $13 at the local wine mega-store, I didn’t expect a great value in Cab. With complex flavors of tobacco, cedar, currant and berries, this wine demanded attention upon opening and I adjusted my expectations accordingly.
This is a highly recommended value.
